I serve as a board member of Alaskans Together for Equality because I believe in organization’s mission to educate and advocate at the local, state, and federal level for equal rights for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender Alaskans.

While we have made great strides in recent years, we are still on the road to ensuring equal treatment and equal protection under the law.

In fact, there are groups in Alaska and around the nation that are intent on rolling back the gains we’ve made and the hard-fought battles we have won.  But, we’re not going to let them.

We’re fighting back and Alaskans Together is working every day to make sure that love continues to win!

We need your help! We have some big political fights on the horizon in Alaska. Outside forces are working to enshrine discrimination in our largest city, and are lobbying legislators to push an anti-equality agenda. We can’t let them win!
